KNOXVILLE – University of Tennessee President Joe DiPietro delivers his third annual State of the University address on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
DiPietro’s speech begins at 3 p.m. CST/4 p.m. EST before an audience of UT leaders and dignitaries in downtown Nashville and will be webcast live.
DiPietro’s remarks will cover:
- Developing a multi-pronged UT effort to address the opioid addiction crisis in Tennessee
- University milestones in self-limiting tuition increases during the past three years and for the year ahead
- Record-breaking UT research productivity system-wide
- UT enrollment growth and progress in student retention and graduation rates
- All UT campus chancellors, DiPietro’s cabinet, Nashville-area UT trustees and UT Alumni Association officials will attend the event in person.
