University of Tennessee System Selects Accenture as Partner for ERP Transformation

Knoxville – The University of Tennessee System has selected Accenture as the strategic partner for its migration to Oracle Cloud applications as its new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system named DASH (Dynamic Administrative Systems for Higher Education).

In January 2022, Oracle was announced as the platform for DASH. Now with the selection of Accenture using a publicly competitive procurement process, the two partners are in place as the UT System moves forward with the roll out of DASH.

“We are pleased to work with Accenture as one of Oracle’s most strategic business partners and one whose higher education practice serves leading research institutions, institutions with academic medical centers and multi-institution environments,” said David Miller, UT System senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Due to the magnitude of the project, Accenture will support the University’s timeline with an experienced team and implementation approach designed to keep the project on schedule and on budget. They will work side-by-side with UT System project team members to help employees transition to the new system, provide guidance on how the finance and human resource processes should flow, configure the processes and integrate with other applications.

DASH will replace IRIS, which has been in place for almost 20 years, in the summer of 2024. It will improve UT System’s user experiences and allow the system to be more agile and dynamic in its finance, human resource and payroll functions.
