Rickey McCallum joined the UT Research Park as vice president on July 1. McCallum draws on his prior experience with the UT Foundation to help the park fulfill its mission to serve as a gateway for collaboration between the university and the private sector.

The University of Tennessee Research Foundation (UTRF) celebrated the researchers whose achievements made 2018 a record-breaking year at the annual Innovation Awards ceremonies, held December 4 in Memphis and December 5 in Knoxville.
The center is the result of collaboration between the Tennessee Departments of Transportation and Tourist Development, as well as the University of Tennessee, which oversees the 5-megawatt, 25-acre West Tennessee Solar Farm surrounding the building.
