UT Board Subcommittee to Meet Dec. 15

KNOXVILLE – A subcommittee of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet Dec. 15.

The Subcommittee on Community and Alumni Relations will meet at 12 p.m. EST/ 11 a.m. CST with members participating by teleconference or videoconference originating from the 8th floor conference room of Andy Holt Tower, located at 1331 Circle Park Drive on the UT Knoxville campus.

Items on the agenda are campus reports on community relations and an update from the UT Alumni Association.

The agenda will include a 30-minute period for individuals to address the subcommittee. Topics must be of general interest to the local community or to the University’s alumni. The subcommittee will not hear individual grievances or complaints. Each speaker will be allowed to speak for a maximum of five minutes.

Anyone wishing to address the subcommittee must submit a written request to the Board of Trustees office including the party’s name, affiliation with the University (if any), email address, daytime telephone number and the topic to be addressed. Requests must be received no later than 12 p.m. EST on Dec. 13.

Speakers will be selected on a “first come, first served” basis, but no more than four speakers will be allowed to speak on the same topic. Speakers will be notified of the approximate time at which they will be recognized to address the subcommittee. Speakers who wish to distribute written materials to the subcommittee must provide one electronic or printed copy to the Board office no later than 12 p.m. EST on Dec. 14. Audio/visual equipment will not be available.
