UT Interim President Randy Boyd announced the search committee in November. Hiring a new chancellor is one of his six outlined priorities. UT will use a search firm in partnership with its own executive recruitment team to identify candidates for the position.
Randy Boyd announced an initiative geared toward providing greater and easier access to information for UT’s faculty, staff, students and the communities it serves.
The search committee, chaired by Keith Carver, chancellor of the University of Tennessee at Martin, will officially launch the search in January with hopes to name a chancellor in May.
Linda C. Martin, currently director of the second-year transformational experience program at The Ohio State University, was selected following a national search that began in March.
