Kerry Witcher, a longtime University of Tennessee administrator, assumes dual interim roles as vice president for development and alumni affairs and as president of the UT Foundation following the retirement of Rickey McCurry later this month.
Larry Arrington, UTIA chancellor since 2011, will retire and leave office effective Sept. 1. UT President Joe DiPietro has selected UT Extension Dean Tim Cross to serve as interim chancellor until Arrington’s successor is found. A search is to begin immediately.
