UTHSC Awarded $500,000 from the U.S. Dept. of Commerce to Fund Innovative Proof-of-Concept Center

The funding will help connect innovative medical researchers and their technologies to business and entrepreneurial expertise via a partnership with Memphis Bioworks. It will also support collaborative efforts with the UT Research Foundation with the goal of offering novel solutions for regional health challenges, and contribute to job creation and economic development in the region and state.

Industry Experts Gather to Discuss Clean Energy Technology

About 150 representatives from universities, industry, and federal agencies, along with elected officials, attended Monday’s Southeast Regional Energy Innovation Workshop in Chattanooga, a forum to advance clean energy technology innovation in the region.
