Linda C. Martin will serve as interim chancellor for the University of Tennessee Southern, beginning July 1. The university will launch a search in January to fill the role permanently.
Mark La Branche has announced plans to retire from his current role effective June 30. The UT System will name an interim chancellor in mid-June and launch a search for La Branche’s replacement later this year.
The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will hold a rulemaking hearing on April 19, starting at 1 p.m. CDT. The hearing pertains to Student Code of Conduct rules, library fines and parking rules at UT Southern.
Meeting for the first time at the new UT Southern campus, the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees approved a zero percent tuition increase for the UT Health Science Center (UTHSC) for FY 2022-23.
