UT Releases Proposed Tuition and Fee Increases

In addition to approving her hire, trustees also approved her compensation package and tenure in a faculty appointment in the department of management. Plowman’s first day at UT Knoxville will be July 1.
The meeting will be held to consider UT Interim President Randy Boyd’s recommendation for appointment, compensation and other terms of employment of the chancellor of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Plowman, currently executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, will be recommended to the Board of Trustees during a special meeting on Friday, May 3. She served previously on the UT Knoxville faculty and led the management department in the Haslam College of Business.
Four uniquely qualified finalists have been selected in the search for the next chancellor of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Finalists will participate in on-campus interviews and public forum sessions April 16-18.
