The University of Tennessee System is seeking nominations and applications for the next vice president for academic affairs and student success.
Following the success of a two-year set of self-imposed budget restraints in 2015, University of Tennessee President Joe DiPietro informed the Board of Trustees Wednesday that the University is preparing another set of cost-saving goals.
Michelle Crowder, assistant director of the University of Tennessee Office of Capital Projects, has been named to serve as interim executive director of the department, succeeding Robbi Stivers who assumes a new position with California State University in April.
The meeting of the full board will begin at 1 p.m. EDT on March 29 in the Tennessee Room of the UTC University Center and will be webcast live and archived for later viewing.
The award, presented by Keep Knoxville Beautiful, is designated for properties that incorporate renewable materials, energy efficiency, LEED certification and other sustainable building practices.
