Brian Daniels, an experienced auditor in higher education, has been named the next chief audit and compliance officer of the University of Tennessee after approval by the Board of Trustees Friday.
Interim President Randy Boyd has announced the creation of “UT Promise,” a transformative scholarship that will provide free tuition to qualifying Tennessee residents enrolling at UT campuses located in Knoxville, Chattanooga and Martin.
From making significant changes in the world of medicine to helping underprivileged people across the globe, the 2019 UT President’s Award winners represent the impact the University has on the state and beyond.
Boyd’s speech begins at 1 p.m. CST/2 p.m. EST before an audience of UT leaders and dignitaries in downtown Nashville and will be webcast live.
The Audit and Compliance Committee will consider the committee chair’s recommendation for appointment, compensation and other terms of employment of the chief audit and compliance officer.
