UT Board of Trustees Holds Annual Meeting June 24-25 in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will meet June 24-25 in Knoxville.

The full board’s meeting will begin at 1 p.m. EDT, Thursday, June 25, in the Hollingsworth Auditorium on the UT Institute of Agriculture campus.

The Board of Trustees meeting will be webcast live and archived for later viewing. For a link to the webcast, go to http://www.tennessee.edu/.

  • FY 2016 operating budget, student tuition and fees, and compensation guidelines
  • Amendment of the Student Housing Rule for UT Knoxville
  • Amendment of the Traffic and Parking Rule for UT Chattanooga

Various board committees will meet both days. All meetings will be held in Hollingsworth Auditorium. Here is a schedule of their meetings:

Wednesday, June 24

  • 1:15 p.m. – Research, Outreach, and Economic Development Committee
  • 3 p.m. – Finance and Administration Committee

 Thursday, June 25

  • 8:30 a.m. – Academic Affairs and Student Success Committee
  • 10:30 a.m. – Advancement and Public Affairs Committee
  • 1 p.m. – Full Board

Security measures initiated at the winter board meeting will continue in effect at this meeting. All bags will be subject to searches upon entering Hollingsworth Auditorium, and everyone attending the meeting will be required to enter via the main doors facing the courtyard.
