Knoxville — A special meeting of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will be held at 5 p.m. EST/4 p.m. CST on Dec. 6 with members participating virtually.
The purpose of the special meeting is to consider UT System President Randy Boyd’s recommendation for the appointment of Peter F. Buckley as the next chancellor of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Compensation and other terms of employment will also be considered.
Other action items include:
- Approval of the terms of employment for Steve Schwab upon return to faculty
- Confirmation of the appointment of trustee Jamie Woodson to the executive committee
