Following CDC guidance, the Board of Trustees will hold a virtual meeting Friday 8 a.m. EDT to be briefed about the University’s ongoing COVID-19 response.
UT System President Randy Boyd, in consultation with campus chancellors, has announced that summer session classes at all campuses will be delivered online in response to COVID-19.
By a unanimous vote Friday afternoon, the Board of Trustees selected Randy Boyd to serve as UT’s 26th president for the next five years.
At the meeting, the Board of Trustees will consider appointing Interim President Randy Boyd to the position of president up to June 30, 2025. The Board will also be briefed on the University’s actions and plans in response to COVID-19.
