Newspaper publishers, editors, writers and designers won top awards in the Tennessee Press Association’s 2021 newspaper contest cosponsored by the University of Tennessee System, which has been a part of the annual event since 1940.
The University of Tennessee President’s Council will hold its fifth annual showcase and awards dinner on Friday, Feb 1. The dinner recognizes volunteer leaders for service to the University.
The University of Tennessee Research Foundation (UTRF) celebrated the researchers whose achievements made 2018 a record-breaking year at the annual Innovation Awards ceremonies, held December 4 in Memphis and December 5 in Knoxville.
Capping off a centennial year in which Tennessee Alumnus was redesigned and told the stories of the University of Tennessee’s history, milestones and its most accomplished alumni of the last century, the magazine took home top honors at the Council for the Advancement of Education (CASE) District III awards in Atlanta.
