Gov. Bill Lee, accompanied by local and state officials, joined together to officially celebrate UT Southern, the newest campus to join the UT System in more than 50 years.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee included a 4% investment in the University of Tennessee’s systemwide salary pool, among other key investments in his recent State of the State address.
“We are thankful to the DOE for its support of this program that will deliver a top-tier interdisciplinary workforce talent in emerging fields for industry, government and academia,” UT President Randy Boyd said.
Box, a 1991 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is a partner in the law firm of Rainey Kizer Reviere and Bell in Jackson, Tennessee. His term will expire in 2022.
