Linda C. Martin has agreed to serve on an interim basis following the Aug. 31 retirement of Tim Cross. The university will launch a search this fall to fill the role permanently.
The symposium titled, “Recognition and Reflection in Quality Course Design,” emphasized teaching, and the design and development of courses.
Public and private university officials, whose work is key to achieving Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam’s Drive to 55 initiative, gathered Wednesday for the 2018 Tennessee Transfer Summit to add to their toolkits for ensuring more Tennesseans complete higher education.
Linda C. Martin, currently director of the second-year transformational experience program at The Ohio State University, was selected following a national search that began in March.
