State Approves $8M for UT-Oak Ridge Innovation Institute
The Tennessee General Assembly passed a FY21-22 state budget Thursday that includes an $8 million investment in the University of Tennessee-Oak Ridge Innovation Institute.
The Tennessee General Assembly passed a FY21-22 state budget Thursday that includes an $8 million investment in the University of Tennessee-Oak Ridge Innovation Institute.
Cross has been with the UT Institute of Agriculture for 27 years, leading UTIA since 2016. Prior to that, he served as dean of UT Extension from 2008 to 2016 and assistant dean from 2001 to 2006.
UT President Randy Boyd announced the new Be One UT values that will guide the University into its greatest decade in history during his third annual State of the University address.
Boyd’s remarks will highlight key accomplishments from the previous year, as well as outline initiatives that will help solidify UT’s greatest decade in history.
UT Board Chair John Compton attributed the success to the faculty, staff and students working together to create a safe environment.
