During the months prior to taking office, Randy Boyd traveled the state to listen and learn from many stakeholders both inside and outside of the University of Tennessee system. From those discussions, he outlined six primary objectives to accomplish during his tenure.
The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees today honored UT President Joe DiPietro for nearly eight years of leadership and bestowed upon him the status of president emeritus upon his retirement.
Eighteen faculty and staff members, representing each University of Tennessee campus and institute and overseeing critical functions within the University system, will meet Oct. 2 to begin an intensive, 12-month training program designed to prepare internal candidates for senior leadership roles.
