Keith Carver, chancellor at the University of Tennessee at Martin, will serve as the new leader of the UT Institute of Agriculture (UTIA). Pending board approval, Carver will begin March 1.
Randy Boyd, president of the University of Tennessee System, announced the appointment of Maha Krishnamurthy as president of the University of Tennessee Research Foundation (UTRF), pending approval by the UTRF board.
The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) voted to appoint UT’s Bob Smith as the agency’s interim executive director after a special called meeting.
Crisp will lead the Tennessee Grow Your Own Center, an initiative of the University of Tennessee System, which this year received a $20 million grant from the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE).
