UT to Hold Public Rulemaking Hearing

“We continue to diligently monitor the situation across the state to make adjustments in the best interest of our students, faculty and staff,” said UT President Randy Boyd.
In a special meeting, the Board took the next step in a possible acquisition of Martin Methodist College by giving its approval for UT System leaders to continue negotiations and seek necessary approvals.
Leaders at the two universities announced a strategic alliance to compete for the management-and-operations contract of the Y-12 National Security Complex in Tennessee and the Pantex Plant in Texas.
Members representing each UT campus and institute responded to COVID-19 challenges and worked to combat the issues of racial discrimination and social justice failures within higher education.
