UT Board of Trustees Executive and Compensation, Trusteeship, Health Affairs Committees Meet May 19 in Nashville

KNOXVILLE – The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees Executive and Compensation, Health Affairs and Trusteeship Committees will meet Tuesday, May 19, in Nashville.

The Executive and Compensation Committee meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. CDT, followed by Health Affairs at 11:45 a.m. and Trusteeship at 1 p.m. in the offices of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, 1600 Division Street, Suite 700.

Agenda items for the Executive and Compensation Committee include:

• President’s report
• Authorization for the vice chair to make committee and committee chair appointments if needed before the annual meeting
• Performance-based variable compensation for University officers
• Expedited tenure review for a UTHSC faculty member
• Tentative schedule and agenda for the annual meeting
• Suggestions for workshop topics

The Health Affairs Committee agenda will include a review of the UT Health Science Center’s progress in implementing its strategic clinical plan.
Agenda items for the Trusteeship Committee include:

• Authorization for the vice chair to make committee and committee chair appointments before the fall meeting
• Revised Audit Committee charter
• Bylaw amendments
• Report of the National Commission on College and University Board Governance
• Board and Individual Trustee Self-Assessment Process
• Suggestions for workshop topics
