The Audit and Compliance Committee will consider the committee chair’s recommendation for appointment, compensation and other terms of employment of the chief audit and compliance officer.
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee presented his 2019-20 budget recommendations, including more than $643.8 million in appropriations for the University of Tennessee, to the General Assembly during his State of the State address in Nashville Monday night.
Kerry Witcher, a longtime University of Tennessee administrator, has been selected as UT’s permanent vice president of development and alumni affairs and the president/CEO of the University of Tennessee Foundation.
“We all recognize the world is changing. There is transformation that could be coming to education,” UT Board Chair John Compton said. “That is what we should be considering in our meetings.”
