Lynchburg has long been famous for its Jack Daniel’s Distillery and Tennessee whiskey but will soon be known for its UT mural, too.
The new 36-foot-wide UT mural is located at 6232 U.S. Highway 411 and is visible to all 8,437 travelers passing through Benton each day.
Martin Glenn Glass in McMinnville, owned by Kallye and Justin Randolph, is the site of the newest mural in UT’s statewide campaign. Justin’s father bought the business in 1993, and today it has been in the Randolph family for 30 years.
Painting begins today on a shed at Johnson Farm, owned by Rena and the late Bill Johnson. When completed, the 80-foot-wide mural will be visible to the 2,907 travelers passing by each day on Roberts-Matthews Highway.
Four new murals will be placed in unique locations across middle and southeastern Tennessee.
