In a special meeting, the Board took the next step in a possible acquisition of Martin Methodist College by giving its approval for UT System leaders to continue negotiations and seek necessary approvals.
The Board of Trustees met Friday, Nov. 20 to approve permanent rules revising the student codes of conduct for each campus in order to comply with federal Title IX regulations and to adopt a permanent student immunization rule.
Whitworth currently serves as associate vice president for government relations and advocacy and has been with the UT System since 2012. During her career, Whitworth has led a host of state, federal and strategic issues on behalf of the UT System.
