Tim Cross, longtime University of Tennessee leader, faculty member, and interim chancellor of the UT Institute of Agriculture since September, has been selected by UT President Joe DiPietro to serve as permanent chancellor.
The proposed reorganization, which would separate the position of secretary from the position of general counsel, will be considered when the Board meets Dec. 15 in Nashville.
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges has officially removed UT Martin from probationary status. The announcement came during the final day of the 2016 SACSCOC Annual Meeting held Dec. 3-6 in Atlanta.
