Update on Overtime Regulations: Changes Take Effect Dec. 1
The changes, announced in May, apply to all private and public employers in the nation. UT staff members who are paid less than $47,476 become non-exempt employees on Dec. 1. The rule change is intended to provide employees with important wage and hour protections.

Open Enrollment for 2017 Insurance Programs Set for Oct. 3-14
During this time, all regular employees working at least 75 percent time can enroll in programs, change providers or options, add dependents or cancel coverage. The decisions you make during the enrollment period are effective Jan. 1 – Dec. 31, 2017.
Keith Carver to be Recommended Next UT Martin Chancellor
Keith Carver, executive assistant to the president of the University of Tennessee System, has been selected by UT President Joe DiPietro to serve as the next chancellor of the University of Tennessee at Martin. DiPietro will recommend Carver’s election to the post by the UT Board of Trustees during its Oct. 13-14 meeting in Knoxville.
