Capping off a centennial year in which Tennessee Alumnus was redesigned and told the stories of the University of Tennessee’s history, milestones and its most accomplished alumni of the last century, the magazine took home top honors at the Council for the Advancement of Education (CASE) District III awards in Atlanta.
“It’s no secret that we are living in a polarized, turbulent time in American life, and college campuses are not immune. In the last 12 months, alone, news accounts have documented multiple instances of extremist groups seeking to demonstrate or speak at universities. And now, two of our own campuses-the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga-are being targeted.”
Ashley Blamey, Title IX Coordinator for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, will take on the same responsibilities for UT System Administration in a dual role, UT President Joe DiPietro announced today.
