These meetings will gather input and feedback on the appointment of interim president Randy Boyd to the presidency of the UT System for a term of an additional five years. Boyd has served as interim president since November 2018.
Based on positive feedback from Boyd’s review process, John Compton said he recommended removing the interim title and extending Boyd’s term as president for a term of five additional years.
The Board of Trustees will meet at the UTC University Center on East 5th Street. Committee meetings and the meeting of the full board will be webcast live and archived for later viewing.
The Audit and Compliance Committee meeting will meet at 2 p.m. EDT/ 1 p.m. CDT in Knoxville.
The UT Board of Trustees Executive Committee will meet on Friday, Jan. 17 at the Joint Institute for Advanced Materials in Knoxville.
