The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees Executive and Compensation Committee will meet Tuesday, April 7, in Nashville.
The full board’s meeting will begin at 12:45 p.m. CST, Thursday, Feb. 26, and will be webcast live and archived for later viewing.
Keith Carver, executive assistant to the president of the University of Tennessee, has been chosen by the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Industry to serve as a member of its board of directors. Carver’s three-year term on the board begins Jan. 1 and continues through December 2017.
Under our current business model, the University will not be able to achieve our state’s priorities to increase the number of Tennesseans with degrees or fulfill our own mission to educate, discover and connect to the best of our ability. We are taking steps within the University to remedy this situation, and I asked the governor to be a partner with us.
