Volkswagen Group of America, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the University of Tennessee today announced a collaboration, to create Volkswagen’s first innovation hub in North America at the UT Research Park at Cherokee Farm.
Work on reunifying UT Knoxville and UT Institute of Agriculture continues as it does on planning for the Oak Ridge Institute, UT Interim President Randy Boyd informed UT Board of Trustees today.
The meeting of the full board will begin at 1 p.m. EST/noon CST. Two board committees are scheduled to meet prior to the meeting of the full board.
William Kilbride of Chattanooga has been named to the UT-Battelle Board of Governors by University of Tennessee System Interim President Randy Boyd.
For a record-setting fifth year in a row, the University of Tennessee System Board of Trustees voted to keep tuition increases low. Trustees also approved developing stronger links between the UT Institute of Agriculture and UT Knoxville to increase collaboration between the two and to raise UT’s national rankings.
