The meeting of the full board will begin at 1 p.m. EDT on June 22 in the Hollingsworth Auditorium on the UTIA campus. The meeting will be webcast live and archived for later viewing.
A proposal to hold tuition increases to record lows for three consecutive years is unprecedented in the history of the University of Tennessee system and on its way to consideration by members of the UT Trustees Finance and Administration Committee.
Four experienced higher education leaders from across the country have been named finalists for the position. They will visit Knoxville for meetings with members of the University’s leadership team, direct reports and chief academic officers from across the UT System.
Thomas Zacharia, who built Oak Ridge National Laboratory into a global supercomputing power, has been selected as the laboratory’s next director by UT-Battelle.
